Is your landing page wasting paid traffic?

Most landing pages that fail don't fail because of the colours. They fail on one of five things, and each is a design decision I make before anything is built:

  • The page doesn't match the ad. A visitor who clicked one promise and lands on another leaves. The headline and offer repeat what brought them here.
  • The offer isn't clear above the fold. In the first screen a visitor should see what you sell, who it is for and the next step.
  • There are too many ways out. Extra menu items and competing buttons dilute the one action the page exists for.
  • The form asks too much. Every extra field costs sign-ups, so the form asks only for what the next step needs.
  • It is slow or awkward on a phone. Most visitors arrive on mobile, so the mobile layout is designed first and the page is kept light.

How much does a landing page design cost?

How long does it take?
A landing page or a site of up to 5 pages falls under websites, which usually take 4–7 weeks. A full design and build typically takes 7–13 weeks. Your written quote includes a dated timeline, agreed before work starts, with sign-off at every phase.
Do you only design it, or build it too?
Both, for one price. Websites and landing pages are sold as Figma design plus a WordPress or React build, so there is no design-only landing page offer. I build frontends in React, Next.js and Tailwind; WordPress builds are done with my NeoDimensional team.
How is a landing page different from a homepage?
A homepage introduces a whole business and sends visitors in many directions. A landing page has one audience and one action, such as booking a call, signing up or buying, so everything on it supports that action.
Why use a dedicated landing page for paid ads?
An ad promises something specific. A dedicated page repeats that promise and removes distractions, so more of the people you paid for take the action. Sending ad clicks to a general homepage usually wastes some of the spend.
How many calls to action should a landing page have?
One primary action. It can appear more than once on a long page, but it is always the same action. Secondary links are kept only if they help the visitor reach it.
Can you redesign an existing landing page?
Yes. Send the page and its results so far, and I will say what to keep and what to change. If it only needs improving, the quote reflects that.
What happens after launch?
You get 30 days of fixes after launch, and you can book further work as a new fixed-price scope or hourly. Anything outside the original scope is quoted in writing before it starts.
How do payments work?
The price is fixed in writing before work starts. Half is paid to start and half at launch. After launch you get 30 days of fixes.
What do you need from me to start?
