Take Amazing Image
A photography portfolio where the interface disappears — image-first galleries, minimal chrome, and a booking path that doesn't interrupt the spell.
Overview
A photographer's website has one asset: the photographs. Take Amazing Image needed a portfolio that presents work at full impact while quietly guiding visitors toward booking a shoot.
The challenge
Creative portfolios often fight their own content — heavy frames, clever grids, and animations that upstage the work. The design had to be nearly invisible yet still carry brand, navigation, and a commercial goal.
The approach
- Designed an edge-to-edge gallery system with generous negative space and zero decorative competition.
- Grouped work into story-driven collections rather than one endless grid, so browsing has rhythm.
- Kept typography minimal and confident — the voice of a studio, not a template.
- Threaded a persistent, understated 'book a shoot' path through every collection.
The outcome
A portfolio that feels like a private viewing: the work breathes, the navigation whispers, and the booking step is always one glance away. The system scales to new collections without redesign.
